To all the liberalists and leftists among you, with your namby pamby ignorant views, these innocent children’s blood in on your hands. I write this article today with an extremely heavy heart. By now I am sure the population of the U.K. are aware of the atrocities, that have occurred in the sea side town of Southport. Strangely, enough a place I visited as child, when staying with my Grandparents in Cheshire. Currently I am experiencing a multitude of emotions, but none so prominent as the deepest sympathies to those poor parents in Southport. I am a parent and a grandparent, these poor individuals are experiencing every parent’s worst nightmare that of either loosing a child, a child fighting for their life or a child seriously injured.
However, despite my deepest sympathy, one primal emotion continues to rear its ugly head, that of unbridled anger. Witnessing the results of the carnage to an unprovoked attack, clearly incites the neanderthal in all of us and the deepest desire of exacting revenge. However as a Law undergraduate, with the deepest support of the rule of law, I urge everybody to try and say calm and for the moment, let justice take its course.
What makes this worse is how quickly the authorities denounced this attack as an act of terrorism. Just as they did in the attack of an Army Lt Colonel last week. Arguably, this will all be confirmed in the fullness of time. I will update this article when I have confirmation of the identity of the young man. I hope the same can be expected from other media outlets, of course that’s assuming the mainstream media in my humble opinion, have the integrity to report the truth.
31/07/24 UPDATE: It has now been confirmed, that the attacker is a second generation migrant, from a family that moved to the U.K. from Rwanda. It is further confirmed, that it is not known if he has any ties to Islam. However despite rumours floating around on social media, the authorities are claiming it is not an act of terrorism.
My first contact with this monstrous attack, was through a notification on my phone, saying “horrific stab attack in Southport”. It was reported as a major incident on Hart street in Southport, where the scene was described as something akin to a horror movie. Young innocent children dressed in white, lay on the streets with blood stained clothing, fighting for their lives. Parents and local residents screaming in distress and disbelief, after witnessing a horrific execution and knife attack, by young man believed to be aged 17. The attacker entered the dance studio hosting a Taylor Swift Yoga holiday club, with clearly one thing on his mind.
Carrying a knife, the young man proceeded to attack the young girls, stabbing them relentlessly. Initially 2 of the young girls died and six are in critical condition, with an additional 2 adult victims also in critical condition. However at the time of writing. It has been confirmed that another child has died, bringing the death tool to 3. To all the parents of these poor innocent children the hearts and sympathies of the nation go out to you. With a further message to the poor innocents R.I.P.
At this point, I must give my complete support to the police and the emergency services. Whose professionalism in the face of such adversity, is an inspiration to us all. Additionally a heartfelt thanks, to the local business owner who alerted the police, his colleague carrying one of the young girls to safety, a 63 year old gentleman who tried to disarm the attacker and to all the residents and bystanders who played their part with additional help and support, the nation I am sure salute you all.
In an article I wrote recently, regarding the incident in Harehills. I stated that what had happened, was by no means an isolated occurrence. Knife culture has become all too common, in my opinion because the people who carry knives, are too cowardly to fight with their hands usually referred to a pussies. It has been the norm as a method of emasculating themselves to their piers. However the carrying of knives is a secondary problem. The real issue is the namby pamby liberals, and looney leftist, that fail to address the problem by not passing stronger legislation as a true deterrent.
To highlight this I was sent a clip by a source, showing an interview on GNB news with a gentleman called Harry Miller founder of fair cop. He is a former Humberside police officer, described as a cohesion officer. Fair cop, supports the expression of free speech especially, over concerns of police attempting to criminalise people, exercising their opinions that don’t contravene any laws.
Whilst I can support him in the belief of free speech, I cannot support his liberal ideals on dealing with knife culture, which he expressed during the GNB interview. The GBN interviewer Mark White, appeared to be shocked, that although armed police attended the incident the attacker was still alive. Mr Miller stated and I am paraphrasing here; that we do not want to take the same route as the U.S.. WRONG, in my opinion anyone brandishing any weapon in a public place should be shot.
If you want to prevent people from carrying and weapon, send a hard and clear message, that it is not going to be tolerated. It will make people think twice, if they believe they will face severe harm. A tactic often used here in Spain by the authorities, a positive contribution to the fact we have virtually no crime where I live. Which cannot be said in the U.K., with liberalism and leftist chanting about human rights. My answer to them is, what happened to the human rights of those poor innocents in Southport.
Mr Miller goes on to express his views on how to combat knife culture, in true liberal style, the police need to conduct more stop and search. Really, how will that be implemented, we already have an under resourced police authority, this would require more police being placed on our streets, even then, it would require stop and search to be carried out 24 hours a day seven days a week, with the number of morons that carry knives.
I must make reference to the visit of the Home Secretary Yvette Cooper. Who in the house of commons stated “All of our thoughts will be with the family and loved ones of those who are affected”. With the greatest respect, in my opinion as Home Secretary with her liberalist views, the fault lies squarely at her feet. It is also suspected, that it was under her instructions that Tommy Robinson was arrested. Please note, it is only suspected, this belief still requires authentication and is only an opinion. That being said, whilst the government have condemned the attack, it’s not messages of condemnation and condolence the nation require, it’s positive action and NOW.
In conclusion, as previously stated, mine and I am sure the nation’s deepest sympathy, is with the parents and victims of a senseless act of unprecedented violence. This truly is bitter pill to swallow. The government need to act immediately, police should be given authority to use lethal force if necessary, on those intending to hurt others using a knife. Amendments to laws enacting much stiffer penalties on anyone caught carrying an knife, obviously other than those whom have a legitimate use in the course of their work or business. This and only this type of positive action, will go some way of convincing the electorate you acting for the safety of the nation.
Finally bless those poor unfortunate children, whose lives were unreasonably cut short. Rest in peace.
